The problem

Anyone who has organized food for a festival knows the workflow: a spreadsheet of food trucks, twenty copy-pasted emails, offers arriving in every format imaginable, and the awkward silence toward the trucks that didn't make it. It works — barely — and it eats days.

What we built

CaterFlow turns that workflow into a product:

Events with real specs. Organizers describe an event the way trucks actually evaluate it — date, guests, cuisine needs, available power connections, stand dimensions.

A truck network that filters itself. The platform keeps a database of food trucks with cuisine tags, technical specs, and capacity — and matches them against each event automatically.

One click, every matching truck. A single blast reaches all fitting trucks. Each gets a personal magic link — they view the event and submit their offer without creating an account. Vendor onboarding friction: zero.

Decisions with built-in manners. Offers arrive structured and comparable. Selecting a winner triggers polite automated rejections to everyone else, and scheduled reminders chase the trucks that haven't answered.

Run like our other products. Next.js with Prisma on PostgreSQL, container images built in CI and shipped to a VPS — catering request management with the same deployment discipline as everything else we operate.

The result

The spreadsheet-and-twenty-emails ritual becomes: create event, blast, compare, select. CaterFlow is a Ventus product — born directly out of a real client's world, the foodtruck side of which we know well from our catering-platform work.
